My Requirements

We’re a friendly family in E17 looking for a warm, reliable and energetic after-school nanny for our two boys, aged 5 and 8.

We need help on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays during term time, generally from 4:30–7pm (around 10 hours per week). School is a 10-minute walk from home.

We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with school-age children and can make the end of the day fun and relaxed — whether that’s playing, reading, helping with homework or getting out and about locally.

An important part of the role is cooking dinner for the whole family. We’d love to find someone who enjoys cooking and is happy preparing straightforward, healthy family meals, then clearing up the kitchen and dinner things afterwards. We’re not looking for general housekeeping or cleaning.

There would also be opportunities for additional paid hours from time to time, including evening babysitting, school-holiday help and potentially occasional overnight care, if of interest.

We’re hoping to find someone who can become a regular and trusted part of our family’s weekly routine. Pay is £19-£21/hour gross, with additional hours paid at the same agreed rate.
