Hi, I’m Poly!
I love spending time with children. I enjoy playing with them, talking, reading stories and just being part of their day. I’m quite calm and patient, and I like children to feel comfortable and happy around me.
I’m originally from Brazil and Portuguese is my first language. My English is basic, but I can communicate in everyday situations.
My Experience
I have experience caring for babies and young children of different ages, including looking after more than one child at a time.
I’m comfortable with feeding, changing nappies, bath time, playtime, bedtime routines and general day-to-day care. I always respect each child’s routine and follow the parents’ preferences and instructions.
My Qualifications
I hold a recent DBS Check and have practical experience caring for babies and young children. I’m confident with daily routines, feeding, hygiene, safety and age-appropriate care, always respecting parents’ instructions and preferences.
My Availability
I’m available for part-time nanny work and occasional babysitting. I’m based in Rusholme and happy to travel to Fallowfield, Withington, Didsbury, Chorlton, Wythenshawe and nearby areas.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
- Nannying from £13.00 per hour (gross)

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful person to care for our little boy over the past 2.5 years. Before Poly we had a few other people doing her job but it never felt right. From the very beginning, Poly became so much more than our nanny. She became a truly special part of our family - we call her 'Auntie Poly'
She has cared for my boy with so much love, patience, kindness and warmth, and we have always felt completely reassured knowing he was in her hands. When she arrived at our place our boy was not even walking and now she has watched him grow and celebrated his little milestones and filled his days with fun, laughter and so many happy memories.
Poly was very flexible with our hours and always trying to help wherever she could.
It’s incredibly hard to say goodbye after such a special chapter of our lives. We will always be grateful for everything she has done for our boy and for our family. She will always have a special place in our hearts, and we hope she knows just how loved and appreciated she is.
Thank you for loving our boy as your own. We will miss you more than words can say. ❤️
