About Me
Hi! My name is Izzie, and I am a fun and outgoing individual born in Swindon, but raised in Bath. With a passion for sports and exploring, and a great love for nature, I would love to introduce and implement fun, active, and engaging activities that encourage children to explore, learn and enjoy the world around them.
I have recently finished sixth form, where I achieved A-levels in Psychology, Biology, PE and Core Mathematics. I also achieved a grade 6 or above in all of my GCSEs, including a 7 in both English Language and English Literature, a 6 in Mathematics, three 6s in Triple Science, an 8 in PE and Religious Studies, a 6 in Spanish and a 6 in History. Furthermore, I am studying Sports Psychology in Twickenham, London next year.
I love travelling and exploring new places! I’m also passionate about sports, especially football, and believe that staying active and exercising can play an important role in a child’s development and wellbeing.
I’m more than happy to help with any homework your child may have, as well as any chores required around the house. I really enjoy spending time with children and am confident in keeping them entertained and engaged through fun activities, games and creative play.
I'm friendly, responsible and reliable, and I will always make sure your child feels comfortable and well looked after. I'd love the opportunity to help out and provide a safe and enjoyable environment for your child!
My Experience
I have plenty of experience looking after younger children, particularly through spending time with and babysitting my younger cousins during family events. This has given me the opportunity to develop my confidence in caring for children, keeping them entertained and making sure they feel comfortable and happy.
I also gained valuable experience working in schools with younger children during my work experience week. This allowed me to see how children interact and learn in a school environment, while giving me the opportunity to support and engage with them through a variety of activities. These experiences have helped me develop my patience, communication skills and ability to adapt to different children and their individual needs.
Furthermore, while completing my Duke of Edinburgh Award, I volunteered to coach younger children in football. This experience taught me how to adapt my communication and teaching style to suit different ages and abilities, ensuring that the children could understand and confidently apply what I was teaching them during each drill.
I also volunteered with a Girlguiding group, where I helped lead a variety of creative activities and encouraged every child to get involved. I made an effort to create a warm, welcoming and supportive environment where each child felt comfortable, included and able to be themselves without feeling judged. These experiences have helped me develop my confidence, patience and ability to connect with children of different ages and personalities.
My Qualifications
I have A-levels in psychology, biology and PE. I also have GCSE’s at a 6 or above in maths, English and all three sciences! I have also completed my Bronze and Silver Duke of Edinburgh Awards!
My Availability
I’m available all day on Mondays and Tuesdays! I’m also available in the mornings on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday!
