My Experience

Through my Paramedic Science degree and my role as a Healthcare Assistant in A&E, I have experience caring for and communicating with people of different ages, including children and families. My healthcare experience has taught me to remain calm, responsible and attentive, particularly when someone is unwell or upset. Although my main professional experience is within healthcare rather than childcare, I’m confident caring for children and would always follow the routines and instructions provided by parents

My Qualifications

I’m currently studying BSc (Hons) Paramedic Science at the University of Surrey and am going into my third year. I also work as a Healthcare Assistant in an A&E department. Through my healthcare roles and university training, I have undertaken training in areas including basic life support, safeguarding, infection prevention and emergency care. I also hold a DBS check through my healthcare and clinical work

My Availability

I’m a university student so my availability varies around my university, placement and work schedule. I’m mainly available for occasional and flexible babysitting, including evenings, weekends and some weekdays. I’m happy to discuss dates and times with families individually and can often be flexible with advance notice
