Hello! I’m Michaela, an experienced childcare and care professional with over 12 years of experience in health and social care, including around 5 years working specifically with children and young people.

I’m passionate about helping children feel safe, listened to, valued and confident. My experience includes supporting children and young people with a wide range of needs, including SEND, SEMH, emotional and behavioural needs, trauma and mental health difficulties.

In my professional role, I support children with everyday routines, activities, education, personal development, emotional wellbeing and maintaining a safe and positive environment. I’m comfortable working with different ages and personalities and understand that every child needs an individual approach.

I’m calm, patient, friendly and approachable, and I enjoy creating a fun environment while maintaining clear boundaries and routines. I’m also confident responding to unexpected situations and putting children’s safety and wellbeing first.
