My Experience

My main experience is with both primary and college aged students. I have a passion for engaging students across a variety of subjects. I have followed the national curriculum, written my own curriculum, and have experience with formalised testing and phonics learning (with nursery aged students and adult college learners).
I have embedded both functional skills and independence/life skills throughout my teaching. I truly believe that learning relationships should be joyful and engaging, and that every child and young person are capable of learning and communicating that progress.

My Qualifications

I am a fully qualified trainer working with students aged 14 and above on vocational learning and would work with younger students in an unqualified (TA/HLTA) capacity.
I have worked as a physical disabilities TA, 1:1, HLTA, and tutor. I have worked with whole classes, small groups and individually with students.

My Availability

I am available during school hours, depending on distance, from around 0830 until 1515. I would prefer working a maximum of 2-3 days a week. I could consider enrichment type activities a couple of times a year during holidays.

My Fees

• Tutoring from £30.00 per hour

My fees are flexible depending on the requirements your young person/family. Please note that my hourly rate is chargeable for planning time. My hourly rate includes up to 20 minutes of travel time each way. To account for peak traffic, any commute exceeding 20 minutes is chargeable at my standard hourly rate.
