About Me
Hi! I’m a friendly, bubbly and responsible babysitter who loves working with children. I’ve grown up surrounded by siblings, so being around kids has always come naturally to me! I also work as a swimming teacher for young children, meaning I’m confident communicating with little ones, keeping them entertained and making sure they’re safe and well looked after.
I’m fully DBS checked and NRASTC trained through my swimming teaching role, which includes first aid and emergency response training. I’ve completed my GCSEs and achieved A*AA in my A-levels, and I’m currently taking a gap year before heading to university.
I’m available most weekdays during the day until around 3pm, and on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays I’m much more flexible and can also do evenings. I’m caring, energetic and dependable, and I’d love to help out with babysitting, keeping the kids entertained and making life a little easier for busy parents! ?
My Experience
I have lots of experience caring for and working with children through my job as a swimming teacher, where I regularly teach young children and ensure they feel safe, comfortable and confident. I also have previous babysitting experience for local families from when I was a teenager, as well as plenty of hands-on experience looking after my younger siblings. I’m friendly, responsible and confident around children of all ages, and really enjoy spending time with them!
My Qualifications
I am a qualified Level 2 STA Swimming Teacher and have completed my NRASTC first aid and rescue training. I achieved three A-levels in Art (A*), English Literature (A) and Psychology (A), as well as all of my GCSEs at grades 6–9. My swimming teaching and first aid qualifications have also given me valuable skills in keeping children safe and responding calmly and responsibly when needed.
My Availability
Monday–Thursday: 6am–3pm & 8pm onwards
Friday–Sunday: Available all day & evenings ?
