About Me

Hi, I’m Rebecca! I’m a friendly, caring and responsible person who really enjoys working with children.

I’m currently studying for a Master’s degree at university and am looking for flexible babysitting work alongside my studies, particularly at weekends and in the evenings.

I’m patient, reliable and approachable, and I like creating a fun and relaxed environment where children feel comfortable and supported. I’m happy to get involved with play and activities, help with meals, bath and bedtime routines, reading stories or whatever fits your family’s usual routine.

I understand that leaving your children with someone new can be a big decision, so I’m always happy to have a chat beforehand and get to know your family and your children’s individual needs and routines

My Experience

In my previous nursery role, I worked in an outdoor woodland setting, supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing. I helped with daily routines, activities, observations, safeguarding, risk assessments and supporting children's individual needs.

I have also provided cover in after-school settings and have experience working with school-age children. Through previous work, I have led creative sessions for school groups, giving me experience managing and engaging groups of children through fun, practical and creative activities.

I particularly enjoy creative and outdoor activities and encouraging children to explore, be curious and develop their confidence and independence.

I am PVG registered and have completed Paediatric First Aid, as well as professional childcare training.

SVQ Level 3 in Social Services (Children and Young People)
BA (Hons) Fine Art

My Availability

I am available for babysitting at weekends, with some flexibility for evening work depending on my university timetable. I’m happy to discuss availability and find arrangements that work for your family.

My standard rate is £14 per hour for babysitting. I’m happy to discuss rates for multiple children, longer bookings or regular arrangements.
