My Requirements

We’re looking for someone to join us Monday–Thursday from January 2027, ideally looking for a long-term position and who will become a trusted and valued part of our family for years to come.

Our ideal nanny will be:

* Warm, nurturing and genuinely passionate about caring for babies and young children
* Experienced with babies around 1 year old and confident taking sole charge
* Reliable, proactive and organised
* Happy to plan a fun, stimulating day around our son’s routine, including naps, meals, play and outings
* Interested in supporting his development through books, music, sensory play, outdoor time and age-appropriate activities
* Someone who is attentive to his individual needs and enjoys building a close, trusting relationship with him
* A good communicator who is happy to work collaboratively with us as parents

Montessori or similar early-years training would be a lovely bonus, as we’re interested in an approach that encourages independence, curiosity and learning through play.

Spanish-speaking would also be a big plus, as we’d love to introduce Spanish naturally into his everyday life from a young age (his Mum is half Spanish).

The role

* Start: January 2027
* Days: Monday–Thursday
* Location: Tooting, SW London
* Caring for one baby, who will be 11 months old
* Day-to-day baby care including meals, naps, changing and age-appropriate activities
* Taking him out locally for walks, classes, playgrounds, libraries etc.
* Keeping his toys, nursery and baby-related areas organised, clean and tidy
* Preparing meals for him
* Doing his laundry

We’d ideally like someone with strong previous nanny/baby experience, excellent references and an up-to-date DBS and paediatric first aid certificate. Relevant childcare/early-years qualifications are welcome, although we’re open to the right person with excellent hands-on experience.

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone kind, dependable and engaged who will really enjoy spending their days with our son.
