About Me

I am a parent of a 7 year old. I love animals and have 2 loving dogs and a cat. I enjoy being outdoors and going on adventures.

My Experience

15 years experience as a foster carer looking after children age 0 to 18+. I have my own daughter age 7. Experience of children with Trauma and disabilities. Training from East Ayrshire Council and SCMA include: Child Protection, Emergency Paediatric First Aid Parental Involvement, Childminding Introduction, NEST autism training, Seasons for growth, Transgender Awareness, Keeping Memories Safe, Managing stress and anxiety, Neo Natal Abstinence, Understanding the Promise, Sleep Action training, NEST support group, Children's and young peoples mental health and well-being, Gaming and gambling awareness for children, Adult support and protection 16+, YGAM fortnight, Minecraft and Roblox, Neurodiversity conference to support behaviour and mental health, supporting children and the law, teenage development 13+, ERIC training, Child bereavement, Trauma Informed Parenting, FASD.

My Qualifications

I have completed all the courses relevant for childminding and will continue to improve my knowledge.
