My Experience

I have over a year and a half of private nanny experience across two families in Australia. From April 2021 to June 2022, I cared for three children (3 months, 7 and 8 years) three days a week, independently handling school pick-ups, afternoon routines, homework, meals and bedtime, as well as coordinating swimming and netball activities and outings. I also managed household duties including washing, changing sheets, grocery shopping, meal prepping, vacuuming, mopping and dusting.

From October 2020 to March 2021, I provided dedicated after-school care for a 13-year-old boy with autism, two days a week. This involved maintaining a calm, consistent routine, providing appropriate supervision and support, and accompanying him to speech pathology appointments. Building a trusting relationship with him over time was one of the most rewarding parts of that role.

Alongside my childcare experience, I've worked in fast-paced environments requiring strong organisation, discretion, and multitasking, including leading store operations at lululemon and managing high-volume caseloads as a law graduate - skills I bring to planning routines and staying calm under pressure with children.

My Qualifications

I hold a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Criminology from the University of Newcastle, Australia. While my formal qualifications aren't childcare-specific, I bring over a year and a half of hands-on private nanny experience across two families, including dedicated experience supporting a child with autism.
