About Me
I am a single parent and a full-time student nurse at Birmingham Newman University. I also work a part-time job on a zero-hours contract. I have a lovely, calm, and sweet 9-year-old son who attends a local special needs school. I am incredibly organised, but I need a reliable childcare partner to support us while I complete my mandatory clinical placement blocks.
My Requirements
I am looking for an Ofsted-registered childcare provider with experience in Special Educational Needs (SEND). I need care for 3 days a week during my nursing placement blocks. My son is dropped off directly at our home by his special needs school transport bus at 3:45 PM. I need a carer to meet him at our house at 3:45 PM and remain with him inside our home until 6:00 PM, when a relative will handle the handover. Alternatively, I am open to an Ofsted childminder who can collect him directly from the gates of Mayfield School (B19 1HL) at 2:40 PM and care for him at their setting until 6:00 PM. I claim childcare costs through Universal Credit, so an active Ofsted registration number is required.
