My Summary

My Experience

I’ve had a few different experiences looking after children. I did work experience in a primary school, which I really enjoyed and gave me the chance to spend time with children in a school environment and help with different activities such as phonics, making snack for them and prepping the children for their school nativity o
play.
I’ve also helped look after my younger siblings over the years, so I’m used to being patient, keeping them entertained and making sure they’re safe and happy. I’ve also helped my aunt with her work as a nanny, which has given me a better understanding of what childcare involves and what it’s like caring for children as part of someone’s job.
I genuinely enjoy being around children and getting involved with what they’re interested in, whether that’s playing, being creative, reading or just keeping them company. I’m keen to build on the experience I already have and would love the opportunity to help other families.

My Qualifications

I don’t currently have any formal childcare qualifications, but I do have practical experience with children through work experience in a primary school, helping my aunt with her nannying work, and looking after my younger siblings. I’m keen to build on this experience and develop my childcare skills further.
