About Me
Seaside Cubs Childcare is a warm, welcoming home-from-home childcare setting where children can learn, play, explore and grow in a safe and nurturing environment.
I aim to create a relaxed setting where every child feels happy, valued and included, while supporting their individual interests, personalities and stages of development.
Children will have access to a wide variety of age-appropriate resources and experiences, including creative and messy play, sensory activities, construction, imaginative and role play, books, music and plenty of opportunities for child-led play.
Outdoor play and getting out and about will be an important part of our days. Where appropriate, we will enjoy walks, local outings, trips to parks and other child-friendly activities, giving children opportunities to explore the world around them and develop their confidence.
I will provide a caring, home-from-home atmosphere with a balance of planned activities and spontaneous learning through play. I believe children learn best when they are happy, engaged and given opportunities to explore at their own pace.
I plan to offer full-time, part-time and wraparound childcare, working closely with parents to provide a consistent and supportive experience for each child.
I am currently pre-registered, with my childcare service planned to open once my Ofsted registration is complete.
My Experience
I am a mum of two young children and have hands-on experience of caring for children at different stages of development. Being a parent has given me a strong understanding of the importance of creating a safe, caring and stimulating environment where children feel secure and supported.
I have completed my Level 3 Working from Home Childcare qualification, along with Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding training. I am also continuing to develop my knowledge through additional training and professional development as I work towards becoming a registered childminder.
My experience as a parent has taught me the importance of patience, consistency and understanding each child as an individual. I understand that children develop at their own pace and that their interests, personalities and needs can be very different.
I particularly enjoy creative activities, imaginative play, books, building and construction, sensory play and getting children outdoors to explore and learn through real-life experiences.
I am passionate about providing families with childcare where children feel happy, confident and cared for, while parents can feel reassured that their child is in a safe and nurturing home-from-home environment.
I am currently pre-registered with Ofsted and look forward to continuing my professional development throughout my childminding career.
My Qualifications
I have completed my Level 3 Working from Home Childcare qualification, which has provided me with a strong foundation in childcare, child development, play, health and safety and providing a stimulating home-based learning environment.
I have also completed Paediatric First Aid, including practical training, as well as Level 1 and Level 2 Safeguarding and Designated Safeguarding Lead training.
I am committed to keeping my knowledge and training up to date and am continuing to complete further safeguarding and childcare-related training as I progress towards my Ofsted registration.
My qualifications and ongoing professional development support my aim of providing children with safe, nurturing and high-quality childcare in a welcoming home-from-home setting.
My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
My Fees
I am currently pre-registered and plan to offer limited, year-round childcare places once I am registered. I will look into offering funded places once my registration is complete. Places will be available for both private and funded childcare, subject to availability, eligibility and the relevant funding guidance.
My standard fee will be £7.00 per hour. An early start from 7:00am will be charged at £5.00.
My fees include a warm, home-from-home childcare experience with a wide range of play opportunities, creative activities and outdoor adventures.

• Access to a wide range of indoor and outdoor resources
• Local walks, outings and adventures where appropriate
Parents will need to provide their child’s lunch.
I will be happy to discuss full-time, part-time and wraparound care and tailor arrangements where possible to suit individual family needs.
