My Summary
Level 5 Childminder | Multilingual, Nurturing Home-From-Home Care
About Me
Hello! I’m Adaeze, an experienced Senior Early Years practitioner and the childminder behind Zee Little Stars in Redhill.
I provide calm, nurturing home-from-home care where children feel safe, known and valued. My approach is closely guided by the EYFS and inspired by Reggio Emilia, seeing children as capable, curious learners who learn best through secure relationships, purposeful play and exploration.
I offer care in English, French and Italian, home-cooked meals, outdoor experiences, plenty of stories, sensory and creative play, with all activities shaped around each child’s individual interests and development.
My Experience
Before starting Zee Little Stars, I worked for several years in Busy Bees nursery settings, caring for babies and young children.
My previous experience also includes tutoring and babysitting, supporting individual children’s learning and development, planning age-appropriate experiences, observing progress closely. I'm passionate about maintaining safe environments and working closely with the child's parents/carers.
As a childminder with my own little one, I'm excited about bringing all my experience to provide care in a smaller, more personal setting.
My Qualifications
I hold a Level 5 qualification in Early Years and have up-to-date training relevant to providing safe, high-quality childcare.
My professional development includes areas such as:
• Safeguarding and child protection
• Paediatric First Aid
• Child development from birth to 7 and the EYFS
• Supporting children's wellbeing and resilience
• Speech, language and communication
• SEND and inclusive practice
• Equality, diversity and inclusion
• Health, safety and hygiene
• Supporting positive behaviour
