About Me

I am a married man with four wonderful children with ages ranging from 3 years to 18 years old. I have been involved with educating children most of my working life and have taught mathematics at secondary schools for over 16 years. After having my youngest son, I have decided to transition to early years. I have been very much involved with the upbringing of my own children, from helping them take their first steps to teaching them how to ride their bikes and it has been a pleasure to see them being able to read from a young age because of all of the books we read together and many more achievements over the years. I believe my personality and my personal experience with my own children gives me very good skill set to be a great childminder.

My Experience

I've taught mathematics at secondary school level since 2009 and now I am also a qualified early years teacher and received my EYTS certificate from Reading University. During my training I worked at 3 different nursery settings which included a specialist nursery catering for children with additional needs. My training and my placements as well as my experience with my own children has given me valuable hands-on experience which I bring to childminding.
