About Me

Hi, I’m a single dad living in a lovely three-bedroom home in the W3/Acton area with my two children, aged 5 and 7.
I was born in London but grew up in New York City, so I’ve got a London–New York mix about me!
I’m a manager and work full-time, which is why I’m looking for someone reliable and caring to become part of our routine and help me with the children around my working hours.
My two children are happy, fun and full of personality. They’re both living with me full-time, and I’m very hands-on with them. Their mum is originally from Malaysia, although she is currently not involved in their day-to-day care.
We’re a relaxed, friendly and fun family, and our home is a welcoming one. I’m looking for someone who is warm, trustworthy, responsible and genuinely enjoys being around children. Ideally, I’d like to find someone who can become a familiar and trusted person in the children’s lives rather than someone who simply comes in and out.
Because I need to be at work for around 8:00am, an early start would be particularly helpful — ideally around 6:30am — so I can leave for work knowing the children are safe and looked after. The main routine would then involve taking them to school, collecting them around 3:15pm, bringing them home, giving them something to eat and looking after them until I return around 5:30–6:00pm.
I’m hoping to find someone who is dependable, caring and easy to get along with, and who would enjoy being part of a fun and respectful household.
