Hello, I’m Laura, and I’m an experienced and passionate Early Years professional, although my proudest title above all is “Mum” :-). I’m currently in the pre-registration stage with Ofsted to become a registered Childminder.
I enjoy creating fun, engaging experiences based around children’s individual interests, while supporting all areas of their development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage.
I particularly enjoy messy and creative activities, exploring outdoors, nature, sensory play, cooking, stories, music and encouraging children’s curiosity about the world around them.
I am friendly, reliable and organised, and I understand the importance of working closely with parents.
My aim is to provide a home-from-home environment where children feel loved, valued and listened to, while having lots of fun along the way!

My Experience
I’ve worked in childcare for many years in a variety of roles, including as a nanny, Higher Level Teaching Assistant, Room Leader, Nursery Manager, and as a Preschool Manager. I hold childcare and Paediatric first aid qualifications and have extensive experience caring for children from babies through to school age.
As a mum myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can genuinely trust with your children. My approach to childcare is warm, nurturing and child-centred. I want children to feel happy, secure and confident while having plenty of opportunities to learn, explore and develop through play.
My Qualifications
I have a level 3 diploma in childcare, experience in nursery and preschool management, level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualifications, extensive safeguarding training as a Designated Safeguarding Lead and many more child development based training!
My Fees
- Childminding from £7.50 per hour
Tax free childcare accepted & funded places available.
