About Me
Hi, I’m Iga and I’m looking for a warm, caring and patient childminder for my 19-month-old son, Leo.
We are a bilingual family living in Lawrence Weston, Bristol. My parents speak Polish at home and my husband mainly speaks English, so Leo is exposed to both Polish and English.
Leo is a happy, curious little boy who knows what he likes! He can take a little while to warm up to new people and environments, so someone patient and gentle who is happy to build a relationship with him gradually would be ideal. ??
We are looking for someone who can provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where he can socialise, play and develop his confidence around other children.
My Requirements
I’m looking for childcare for my 19-month-old son, Leo, ideally around 3 days per week to begin with. I would prefer shorter days initially so that he can settle gradually without becoming overwhelmed, but I’m very open to discussing what you feel would work best based on your experience.
Location: Lawrence Weston and surrounding areas — ideally within a reasonable distance of BS11.
Days: Flexible / ideally 3 days per week.
Hours: Preferably mornings into early afternoon initially, but I’m open to discussing different arrangements.
Languages: Having a Polish-speaking childminder would be a lovely bonus, as I’d really like him to have as much exposure to Polish as possible before he starts school. However, it’s definitely not essential — finding the right, caring and nurturing person for Leo is the most important thing to me, and I’d be very happy to consider an English-speaking childminder if we feel they would be a good fit for him.
I’m looking for someone caring, patient and experienced with toddlers who would be happy to take things slowly while Leo gets to know them and settles in. ?
