About Me

Hi! I’m a fun, bubbly and creative person who genuinely loves spending time with children. Alongside babysitting, I also work in the fitness industry, so I love keeping active and bringing lots of energy and enthusiasm to everything I do.

I studied Child Development as one of my GCSE subjects, which gave me a great understanding of children’s development, behaviour and individual needs, as well as plenty of knowledge that I can put into practice when caring for children.

I’m available for a range of childcare needs, including mornings, before-school and after-school care, school pick-ups, making dinner, evening babysitting, overnight stays, school holidays and occasional weekends. I’m happy to fit around your family’s routine and help make life a little easier for parents.

I’ve been regularly babysitting for the same family for the past year, which I really enjoy, and I love building a good relationship with both the children and their parents. I’m creative, reliable and always keen to get involved, whether that’s playing games, doing activities, getting outdoors, baking, keeping active or simply making sure the children have a fun and enjoyable time.

I’m a warm, approachable and responsible person, and I’d love the opportunity to get to know your family and provide a fun, caring and supportive environment for your children.

My Experience

I’m a friendly, caring and reliable babysitter with many years of experience looking after children of all ages. I’ve been babysitting since I was around 13 years old and have experience caring for children from newborns up to around 10 years old. I’ve also worked at summer camps with children aged 4–12, which has given me lots of experience keeping children entertained, engaged and safe in a fun environment.

I genuinely love working with children and have always enjoyed being around them. I like to make babysitting more than just supervision by getting involved and creating fun, age-appropriate activities. Whether that’s baking, arts and crafts, playing sports and games, going to the park, or simply having a cosy movie night, I always aim to make sure children are happy, comfortable and having a great time.

I’m DBS checked and have first aid training, which I’m due to renew soon. I’m responsible, patient and attentive, and I understand how important it is for parents to feel confident and comfortable leaving their children in someone else’s care.

Most importantly, I’m someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with children and takes pride in creating a safe, positive and fun environment for them.

My Qualifications

My main formal qualification is a Level 2 Distinction in Child Development, which I completed as part of my GCSE studies. This gave me a strong understanding of children’s development, behaviour, needs and how to support children at different stages of their development.

I am also currently studying towards a Level 2 qualification in Sports for Children, which is helping me develop my knowledge of keeping children active, encouraging participation and creating fun, age-appropriate physical activities.

Alongside my qualifications, I have built up a great deal of practical, hands-on experience working with children. I have worked at summer camps caring for groups of 30 or more children at a time, giving me experience managing larger groups, keeping children safe and engaged, and adapting to different personalities and needs.

I also have several years of regular babysitting experience, including caring for children from newborns through to around 10 years old. I believe this practical experience is just as valuable as formal qualifications, as it has taught me how to handle real-life situations, build trusting relationships with children and provide a safe, fun and caring environment.

I am also DBS checked and have completed first aid training, which I am due to renew soon.
