Eloise
Babysitter in Witney
My Summary
About Me
I grew up in Essex as one of three children, with two headteachers as parents—so schools and education have always been a big part of my life! I am friendly, patient, caring and creative, and I genuinely enjoy helping children feel safe, confident and understood.
I currently work for an Armed Forces charity, supporting vulnerable veterans and their families, while taking a short break from classroom teaching. Outside work, I enjoy swimming, hiking, running, reading and attending choir. I am also learning BSL and love finding new ways to communicate and connect with others. I am mainly available for evening and weekend nannying.
My Experience
I am a qualified SEND teacher with a Master’s degree in Special and Inclusive Education from UCL and extensive experience caring for children with a wide range of needs.
My experience includes working as a SEND teaching assistant, helping to establish an alternative provision and teaching a class of eight pupils with complex special educational needs. I have provided personal care and first aid, adapted activities, supported communication and emotional regulation, and helped children develop their confidence and independence.
I also worked as a swimming teacher for five years and as Assistant Head of Waterfront at a summer camp in Massachusetts, where I organised activities, supervised children and maintained a safe, enjoyable environment. I am confident planning sensory play, messy play, outdoor learning, stories, crafts and spontaneous activities tailored to each child’s interests.
I am caring, patient, creative and confident supporting children both at home and in the community. I am currently seeking evening or weekend nannying work alongside my weekday charity role.
