About Me
I would describe myself as a very capable and patient child caring adult who has a good sense of humour and a lot of experience when working with children at their level. I have looked after kids of all ages, especially the one family which was for five years, they had four girls. I loved looking after their girls, helping out with school work, playing with them, taking them out somedays as well as looking after them over night times. When looking after them I create a warm, safe and secure environment for children to play and learn in.
My Experience
I have five years’ experience working at an American summer camp with children aged 8–16, progressing into leadership roles. I also worked as a full-time nanny for one year, caring for children aged 6 months, 2 and 4. I have experience planning activities, managing routines and supporting children’s wellbeing.
My Qualifications
I am a fully qualified secondary school teacher, with experience teaching children and young people aged 11–18. My teaching qualification has provided me with strong knowledge of child development, safeguarding, behaviour management, communication and supporting individual needs. I am confident creating safe, positive and engaging environments for children.
My Availability
I am available every Wednesday through Friday, as well as most Tuesdays. I also have good availability at weekends and can be flexible where needed.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
- Nannying from £16.00 per hour (net)
