After School Nanny Job in Romford
About Me
Hi! I’m a working mum to my lovely 4-year-old daughter. We’re a happy, easy-going little household, and I’m looking for a kind, reliable and trustworthy person who can provide some regular after-school support.
I work full-time and usually work from the office on Thursdays, so my main requirement would be Thursday school pick-up, spending some relaxed time together after school (we love the idea of a trip to the local library!), bringing her home, preparing/giving her a simple dinner and helping her settle into her evening routine until I’m home.
I may also occasionally need some additional help after school on Fridays or with evening babysitting, so some flexibility would be lovely, although this wouldn’t be essential.
My daughter is friendly, chatty and active and enjoys reading, crafts, and activities. She already has quite a busy week, so I’d particularly like her time at home to feel relaxed and nurturing rather than like another scheduled activity.
Most importantly, I’m looking for someone warm, dependable and genuinely good with children who my daughter can get to know and feel comfortable with. Ideally, I’d love to find someone who can become a consistent and trusted part of our weekly routine.
My Requirements
I’m looking for a reliable and caring person to provide regular after-school support for my 4-year-old daughter, primarily on Thursdays.
The main requirement would be school pick-up, followed by some relaxed time together after school. This could include a trip to the local library, reading, crafts or simply heading home to unwind. I’d then like her to be given a simple dinner and helped with her evening routine until I return home.
I’m ideally looking for someone who can commit consistently to Thursdays during term time. There may also be occasional opportunities for Friday after-school care, evening babysitting and additional hours during school holidays, if mutually convenient.
Reliability and consistency are really important to me. I’d love to find someone warm, patient and engaging who enjoys spending time with children and can build a genuine, trusting relationship with my daughter.
Experience with primary-school-aged children, references and an enhanced DBS are preferred. First-aid training would also be a bonus.
