My Summary
About Me
Working with children has always been something I have genuinely enjoyed, and over the years I have gained a wide range of experience across schools, colleges, children’s services, residential care and SEN settings. I have supported children and young people with a variety of needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH and complex needs, as well as working as a tutor supporting children within the community.
I’m naturally a fun, energetic and approachable person, and I believe children learn and thrive when they feel comfortable, listened to and able to be themselves. I love coming up with creative activities, getting out and about, playing games and finding things that capture a child's individual interests — whether that's something educational, active or simply lots of fun!
Being a parent myself has also given me a real understanding of how important it is to find someone you can trust and feel completely comfortable leaving your children with. I understand that every child is different, and I take the time to get to know their personality, interests, routines and individual needs.
My professional experience, combined with being a mum, means I bring a caring but confident approach, while always putting children's safety, wellbeing and happiness first. I’m reliable, patient and responsible, but I also believe childcare should be enjoyable — I want children to look forward to spending time with me and feel that they can be completely themselves.
