My Summary
About Me
Hello, I'm Karlien.
I'm a mum of two daughters and have spent more than 20 years living and working across Asia, Africa, Europe and the UK. My experience with children comes from a variety of roles within international school communities, including Support Teacher, Girl Scout Troop Leader, Infant Massage Instructor and Yoga Teacher. I hold a degree in Dietetics and currently work within the science sector, bringing a calm, organised and safety-focused approach to childcare.
Alongside my professional career, I successfully built and ran a domestic cleaning business in the UK, giving me excellent household management skills and a practical understanding of busy family life. I genuinely enjoy supporting families and creating a safe, nurturing environment where children feel happy, secure and well cared for.
I hold a current Paediatric CPR certificate, an Enhanced DBS, and can provide over 15 years of professional clearance certificates and references.
