My Experience

I have just returned from my 2nd summer working with children in Canada. I was responsible for the 24hr care of a group of 15 eight-year-olds at a summer camp. I lived with them in their cabin, establishing daily routines, supervising mealtimes, resolving conflicts, and settling them down at night.

It was my job to plan and lead engaging daily activities, ensuring everyone had fun while maintaining a safe environment. I monitoring and managed group dynamics, provided emotional support, and administered First Aid when needed.

I also worked with the older kids at camp, up to age 16, leading activities, and providing mentorship and guidance.

My Qualifications

Qualifications:
- Level 1 Safeguarding Children and Young People Certificate
- Level 2 Safeguarding Children and Young People Certificate
- First Aid Trained

Education:
1st Class Honours - BSc Geography - Durham University

Other:
- International Child Protection Certificate
- Enhanced DBS checked

My Availability

I am available to babysit in the evenings 7 days a week, and during the day on weekends.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
