My partner works a structured schedule, starting his working day at 8:00 AM, while I work a dedicated, rotating shift pattern that alternates week-by-week. We are practical, organized, and focused on building a stable, loving routine for our little one.
Right now, our world revolves around preparing for our baby girl, who is due to arrive in February 2027. As first-time parents, we are taking everything step-by-step and are incredibly excited (and a little nervous!) to welcome her. My Requirements
As we look ahead to introducing our daughter to the wider world later in 2027, finding the right support network is incredibly important to us. We really value a "home-from-home" feel—somewhere nurturing, safe, and family-oriented where our daughter can grow, learn, and socialize with confidence. We are a smoke-free family and want to find a setting that feels like a natural extension of our own home.
I am a 23-year-old first-time mum expecting a little girl in February 2027. I am starting to look at my childcare options for later in 2027, though I am currently flexible on my exact return-to-work date (likely around autumn/winter 2027, when my daughter will be between 6 and 9 months old).
When I do return, my work operates on an alternating shift pattern. I will need a childminder who can accommodate a two-week rota:Week A: 3 weekdays neededWeek B: 2 weekdays neededMy partner starts work at 8:00 AM and will handle the morning drop-offs around 7:30 AM / 7:45 AM. I finish work at 2:00 PM and will pick her up by 2:30 PM (roughly 7 hours per day).
