I’m looking for a lovely, reliable and experienced extra pair of hands to help with my one-year-old daughter and occasionally around our home.

I’m a very hands-on mum and will always be my daughter’s main caregiver, so I’m not looking for a traditional full-time nanny. Instead, I’d love to find someone who can fit into our family life and offer a little extra support when needed.

This would be a flexible, ad hoc role, ideal for someone who enjoys being around little ones and is happy to help out with a mixture of childcare and light household tasks.

Some days I might need someone to entertain my daughter whilst I get a few hours of work done from home, pop to the gym or catch up on jobs. Other days it might simply be having an extra pair of hands whilst I’m at home with her.

? What I’m looking for help with:

* Playing with and entertaining my little girl, keeping her happy, engaged and stimulated
* Taking her for walks, playing outdoors and doing age-appropriate activities
* Occasionally looking after her independently for short periods whilst I work or pop out
* Helping with her everyday routines when needed
* Light housekeeping, tidying and laundry
* Generally helping to keep things organised and running smoothly at home

? A little about you:

Ideally, I’d love to find someone who is warm, bubbly, energetic and genuinely loves spending time with young children.

Someone who is experienced with babies and toddlers, naturally playful, patient and caring, but also practical, organised and happy to use their initiative.

Reliability and trust are really important to me, as is finding someone who feels comfortable in a relaxed family home.

Hours would be flexible and arranged around when help is needed, rather than a set full-time schedule. Ideally, I’m looking for someone local who is happy with a live-out arrangement.

I’d love to find someone who becomes a familiar, trusted face for my daughter and a little extra support for me along the way.
