About Me
Hello everyone! I am a 21 year old female student looking for part time work opportunities. I have been a young carer to my younger autistic sister for most of my life so I have experience with SEN children. I understand the struggles surrounding finding appropriate , affordable childcare as it’s something my family has dealt with themselves. I am a kind hearted young woman with a passion for helping others and I bond well with children. If you chose me to be your babysitter/nanny, my top priority would be to ensure you feel safe leaving your children in my care. I love to draw and bake so that’s an activity I could do with parental consent.
My Experience
I have been a young carer for over 5 years to my high needs autistic sister. This has meant taking time away from education but i would do it again to support her.
I’ve helped her with showering, preparing food, homework, taking her out on activities.
I also used to volunteer at a charity called MENCAP which offered respite care to parents of young adults with disabilities
My Qualifications
No official qualifications just lived experience being a younger carer , babysitting for family members and volunteering.
