My Summary

My Experience

I have experience with working with children of a range of ages through babysitting, childminding, lifeguarding, dance teaching and working at a sleep away summer camp. Most recently, I spent two months working in USA at Camp Laurel South where I cared for two groups of 8-year old girls, supporting them with their daily routines, meals, dressing, activities, bedtime and emotional needs. I have also worked as an Assistant Dance Teacher, where I supported children with learning routines, building confidence and developing new skills. Alongside this, my experience as a lifeguard has given me strong responsibility, communication and first-aid skills, as well as experience supervising children in a safety-focused environment. Additionally, I also have experience in occasional babysitting and assistant child-minding during the summer holidays and school half-terms. Through all of these roles, I have developed a caring, patient and responsible approach and genuinely enjoy creating a fun, safe and positive environment for children.

My Qualifications

I have completed my college education with a Distinction in BTECH Business Studies, a Distinction in BTECH Creative Media Studies and a B in A-Level Media Studies. I am also a qualified lifeguard and have completed first aid and water safety training as a part of my role. Through my childcare and work experience, I have developed strong communication skills, leadership, responsibility and teamwork skills as well as experience working with children of different ages. I am also happy to complete any additional childcare-related training or qualifications that may be required.

My Availability

My availability is fairly flexible as my current lifeguarding role does not have fixed weekly shifts, meaning I am able to arrange my working hours around the needs of a family. I am happy to discuss regular or occasional childcare and can often swap shifts or arrange cover at work when needed, allowing me to accommodate childcare commitments with reasonable notice. I am particularly interested in part-time nannying or babysitting alongside my current work but I am open to discussing full-time, different schedules or arrangements depending on a family's requirements.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
• Nannying from £14.00 per hour (gross)

My standard rate is £14 an hour but I am happy to discuss my fees depending on the number of children, their ages, the responsibilities involved and the hours required.
