My Experience

I have four years of professional experience working in a school environment, where I have had the opportunity to work with children of all ages, abilities and levels of need. This experience has helped me develop a strong understanding of children’s individual needs, routines, behaviours and development, as well as the importance of creating a safe, supportive and positive environment.
Alongside my professional experience, I have also regularly babysat for family and friends over the years, caring for children and babies of various ages. I have always received positive feedback from the families I have worked with, and they have trusted me to provide caring, reliable and attentive childcare.
I am confident and naturally comfortable around children and babies, and I understand the importance of following their usual day-to-day routines, whether that involves mealtimes, naps, play, school runs or activities. I am also quick to adapt to new environments and routines, allowing me to fit easily into family life and provide consistent care.
I am a caring, patient and responsible person who genuinely enjoys working with children. I love getting involved, keeping children active and engaged, and making the most of outdoor activities, walks and exploring. My experience has given me the confidence to handle different situations calmly while ensuring children feel happy, comfortable and well cared for.

My Qualifications

Although I do not currently hold a formal childcare qualification, I have gained a wealth of practical knowledge and hands-on experience through my four years working in a school, as well as my previous babysitting experience.

During my time working in a school, I have worked with children of all ages, abilities and levels of need, including children with SEND and additional needs. This has given me valuable experience in understanding and supporting each child as an individual, adapting my approach to suit their needs, and creating a safe, positive and supportive environment where they can feel comfortable and confident.
