My Experience

- Voluntary Church Youth & Children's Leader (7 Years)Age Groups Covered: 3 to 15 years old.
1. Weekly Supervision: I Provided routine care, organised activities, and ensured a safe, engaging environment for children and teenagers during main church services.
2. Event Babysitting : I was part of a dedicated team responsible for children at annual camp conventions lasting 1–2 weeks.
3. Overnight & Camp Responsibility: I was trusted with 24/7 care, safeguarding, and group management away from home, ensuring all children were safe, accounted for, and well-looked after.

- Informal Family Childcare (Lifelong)

The "Go-To" Family Childminder: Raised within a very large family of over 15 aunts and uncles, naturally stepping up as the oldest cousin to care for infants, toddlers, and young children.

Practical Skills: Highly experienced in managing daily routines, feeding, playing, and maintaining safety within a household environment.

My Qualifications

While I do not hold formal NVQ childcare certificates, I am a highly responsible Postgraduate Master's student with a strong academic background. My real qualification is my 7 years of hands-on experience managing children aged 3–15 in a church setting and overnight summer camps. I am currently in the process of securing my DBS check and can happily provide excellent character references from my church leaders.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour

My standard rate is £12 per hour for daytime and evening babysitting. For late-night bookings extending past midnight, my rate is £15 per hour. I am happy to discuss custom rates for regular weekly slots or longer weekend bookings!
