About Me
Hi! I’m a 21-year-old first-year student at Birmingham Newman University, studying Primary Education with QTS. I’m looking for flexible part-time work alongside my studies and would love the opportunity to get back into childcare.
I have 3 years experience tutoring and babysitting primary-aged children. I really enjoy helping young people learn, grow and feel confident. I’m friendly, reliable and patient, and I always try to create a positive and comfortable environment for the children I work with. I’m also happy to be flexible with my availability and can take on more hours during university holidays.
My Experience
I have 3 years' experience working as a self-employed tutor and babysitter for primary-aged children. As a tutor, I supported children who required additional help with their schoolwork, focusing on developing their knowledge and confidence in Maths and English to help them progress to the next level of understanding. One of my students had ADHD, and after researching different teaching approaches, I learnt how to adapt my lessons to better maintain their focus and support their individual learning needs. Alongside tutoring, I also provided babysitting for children, caring for them and supporting them with their daily activities.

Currently studying BA (hons) Primary Education with QTS degree at Birmingham Newman University.
My Availability
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursdays.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Tutoring from £20.00 per hour
My rates are on an hourly basis. I’m happy to have a conversation around these dependent on hours and type of care needed.
