Hi, I’m ambre, a gap year student who just graduated Highgate School, and going to Durham next year to study PPE. I’m looking for some babysitting gigs.
Having lots of tutoring and teaching experience, i’m well equipped to help children with any homework or anything they may need help with. I’m also bilingual in French.
Also, I’m a passionate cook, so if you ever need me to prepare something, I’m always happy to help!
I have a full driving license, so if you need children to be picked up from anywhere, i’m well equipped to do so.
I also love playing board games or card games!
My Experience
For three years I worked as a teaching assistant in la petite école french school in hampstead helping with 6-7 year olds. Here, I was responsible for break times and bringing children to the toilet as well as aiding in their studies and answering any questions they may have. Moreover, I’ve been working as a tutor multiple times, in English, French and Maths. For a year I volunteered with 11 year olds to help improve their literacy and numeracy. All of these experiences have taught me how to communicate effectively whilst being understanding. I have also worked as a babysitter, doing the occasional weekend gig!
Also, I volunteered for two terms in treehouse school, a specialist school for autistic children, and have experience looking after my autistic brother whilst having dyslexia myself, so I’m experienced with neurodivergence.
