About Me
I am a caring, patient and reliable person who genuinely enjoys working with children. I am currently studying Psychology and work in an SEMH school, which has given me a strong understanding of children’s emotional, behavioural and individual needs.
I am friendly, responsible and organised, and I always aim to create a safe, positive and enjoyable environment for children. I enjoy building strong relationships with children and supporting them to feel confident, happy and comfortable. I am also very adaptable and understand the importance of being dependable and communicating well with parents and families.
My Experience
I have several years of experience working with children across nursery, primary school and specialist SEMH settings. I have worked as a self-employed childminder, building trusting relationships with families and providing safe, engaging and supportive childcare. I have also worked as a Nursery Assistant, supporting children’s early development, planning activities and maintaining daily routines.
In my roles as a Teaching Assistant, I have supported children from Nursery through to Year 6, including children with SEN and social, emotional and mental health needs. My experience includes providing 1:1 and small-group support, managing challenging behaviour, supporting emotional regulation, encouraging positive social development and creating safe and structured environments.
I am patient, reliable, nurturing and adaptable, with strong communication skills and experience working closely with children, parents, teachers and other professionals. I particularly enjoy helping children build confidence, develop independence and feel safe and supported.

* Experience and training in supporting children with SEN and SEMH needs
* Experience in behaviour management, emotional regulation and de-escalation
* Experience supporting phonics, maths and language development
My Availability
I work Monday to Friday in an SEMH school from 8:30am to 5:00pm. Therefore, I am available for childcare during weekday evenings after 5:30pm, as well as weekends. I can be flexible with my availability where possible and am happy to discuss specific days and times.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
- Nannying from £17.00 per hour (gross)
