My Experience

I have experience caring for children in both home and educational settings. For two months, I regularly looked after children and collected them safely from school by foot, cooked them meals and helped them with their routines ensuring they felt comfortable and well cared for. When I was 13–14, I volunteered part-time over two years during the summer at my mother’s nursery. I helped supervise the children, supported play and learning activities, assisted with meals and maintained a safe, positive environment. I am now three weeks into my primary teacher training and work full-time in a primary school from Monday to Friday, excluding Wednesdays which is my course, learning. This involves supporting children with their learning, behaviour, wellbeing and daily classroom routines. I have also completed safeguarding training and hold an enhanced DBS.

My Qualifications

I hold a BA (Hons) degree in Music Production, Performance and Business and am currently completing primary teacher training through a full-time school placement. I have A Levels in Music, Drama and Biology, as well as GCSEs passed to a strong standard, including grades 8–9 in English Language, English Literature, Spanish and Music, grade 7 in Mathematics and grades 7–6 in Combined Science. I also hold Grade 8 qualifications with Distinction in both Classical and Rock & Pop Singing. I have completed safeguarding training and hold a current enhanced DBS certificate.

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

My standard babysitting rate starts from £15 per hour. This may vary slightly depending on the number and ages of the children, the duties required and the hours involved. I am happy to discuss individual arrangements with families and agree a fair rate in advance.
