My Experience

My childcare experience has mainly come through caring for children within my family and wider circle, as well as being closely involved in day-to-day family life with children over a number of years. I’m comfortable with the practical side of childcare including preparing meals, helping with routines, keeping children entertained, getting out for walks and activities, and creating a calm and safe environment at home.

I particularly enjoy planning simple activities around nature, baking, crafts and outdoor play, and I’m very happy adapting the day around a child’s age, interests and usual routine.

Alongside this, my professional background has involved significant responsibility, organisation and people management. I’m used to being dependable, communicating clearly, managing competing priorities and staying calm when plans change. All skills I bring into caring for children.

I’m now looking to build on my existing experience through nannying and babysitting, and I’m open to regular, temporary and ad-hoc roles.

My Qualifications

I don’t currently hold a formal childcare qualification, but I have a strong professional background and a number of recognised qualifications including BTEC qualifications, ITIL, IOSH and PRINCE2.

My previous roles have involved significant responsibility, organisation, people management, health and safety awareness and working calmly under pressure.

I’m also happy to complete childcare-specific training such as paediatric first aid and any additional checks or courses required for the right role

My Availability

I’m currently quite flexible and available Monday to Friday for regular, temporary and ad-hoc childcare. I’m open to part-time or full-time hours, school runs, daytime care, after-school help and evenings. I’m also happy to consider short-term arrangements if a family needs additional support for a few weeks or months

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Nannying from £17.00 per hour (gross)
