Hi! I’m Georgia, I’m 25 and currently live and work in Manchester.
I’m friendly, caring, reliable and responsible, and I understand how important it is for parents to feel comfortable with the person looking after their children. I really enjoy getting to know each child’s personality and finding things they enjoy, whether that’s crafts, stories, imaginative play or getting outdoors.
I’m mainly looking for babysitting work alongside my full-time job, particularly evenings and weekends. I’d be happy to chat with families beforehand to get to know each other and see if I’d be a good fit.
My Experience
I currently work full-time in a nursery in Manchester, mainly caring for toddlers aged 2–3, and I’m also completing a Level 3 Early Years apprenticeship alongside my role.
My day-to-day experience includes supporting children with meals, nappy changes, toileting, sleep and rest routines, play, outdoor activities and helping them settle and feel comfortable throughout the day. I regularly plan and lead age-appropriate activities such as crafts, sensory play, stories, music, imaginative play and simple learning activities.
Alongside my nursery experience, I have also spent several years working with children and young people through coaching Cheerleading. This has involved working with children of a wide range of ages, supporting them in training sessions and competitions, keeping them engaged and motivated, and helping to create a positive and safe environment.
Through my nursery role, apprenticeship and coaching experience, I have developed a strong understanding of safeguarding, child development, health and safety and the importance of adapting my approach to each individual child. I’m confident caring for children independently and always aim to create a calm, fun and safe environment for them.
My Qualifications
I am currently completing an Early Years Level 3 apprenticeship alongside my full-time nursery role.
I hold a current Enhanced DBS check.
I am first aid trained.
My Availability
I’m available for babysitting most evenings during the week and have flexible availability at weekends, including both daytime and evenings.
I work full-time during the week, so weekday availability would usually be from the early evening onwards. I’m happy to discuss individual dates and times depending on what you need.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
My standard babysitting rate is £14 per hour. This may vary slightly depending on the number of children, hours required and any additional responsibilities. I’m always happy to discuss rates with families before confirming a booking.
