About Me
Welcome to Little Bloom
I’m a mum of two children, aged 4 and 6 (both in full time school/childcare), so I understand how important it is to find somewhere your little one feels safe, happy, loved and able to be themselves.
I’m located on Ladygrove and currently in the process of my Ofsted registration and planning to open Little Bloom around January 2027 and I’m really excited to welcome families and begin this journey.
A home from home
My aim is to create a cosy, nurturing environment where children feel comfortable and secure.
There will be lots of opportunities for play, exploring, creating, getting messy, relaxing and simply enjoying being little. I want children to feel that Little Bloom is a place where they belong.
Learning through play
Play will be at the heart of our days, with a variety of resources available for children to explore, including:
Arts & crafts
Books, stories & singing
Imaginative & small-world play
Puzzles & construction
Sensory & messy play
Early maths & literacy activities
Cooking & baking
Activities will be guided by the children's individual interests, ages and stages of development.
Outdoor adventures
I love getting outside and exploring the world around us.
We’ll make the most of Ladygrove lake, local parks and enjoy everything from puddle jumping, feeding the ducks and collecting leaves to looking for bugs and discovering nature.
We'll also enjoy seasonal activities throughout the year.
Days out
Where appropriate, we’ll enjoy little adventures and outings such as libraries, farms, nature areas, soft play and play groups.
I believe these everyday experiences are fantastic opportunities for children to learn and build confidence.
Working together with parents
I want to build a really positive relationship with the families I care for.
You know your child best, so communication will be important to me. I want parents to feel comfortable sharing their child's interests and needs and to feel reassured that their little one is being genuinely cared for.
Most importantly…
I want Little Bloom to be a place filled with kindness, curiosity, laughter, creativity and lots of lovely childhood memories. A place where little ones can explore at their own pace, develop confidence and, most importantly, feel happy and secure.
My Experience
I’m a caring, friendly and passionate person who genuinely loves being around children and creating an environment where they feel happy, secure, valued and engaged.
As a mum of two young children myself, I understand first-hand the challenges of finding childcare where you feel completely comfortable leaving your little ones. Little Bloom has been something I’ve been working towards for some time, and I’ve completed a number of relevant courses alongside gaining valuable hands-on experience as a parent.
I’m passionate about creating a warm, home-from-home environment where children can learn through play, explore their interests, make friends, build confidence and enjoy lots of fun experiences. My aim is to provide childcare that I would feel completely happy and confident choosing for my own children, and I’m really excited to welcome families to Little Bloom.

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
£7.00 per hour.
Funding accepted
£3.50 per day if you wish for lunch to be provided (all snacks provided)
