About Me

I am a qualified teacher with over 10 years’ experience working with children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). I am passionate about building positive, trusting relationships with children who may find education and childcare settings challenging, helping them to feel understood, supported and valued.
I have extensive experience supporting children with autism and a range of additional needs, as well as providing effective behaviour management and creating calm, nurturing environments. I take an individualised approach, adapting my support to each child’s needs, strengths and interests.
Alongside educational support, I have experience helping children develop important life skills and greater independence, including communication, emotional regulation, social skills, routines and everyday practical skills. My aim is to provide consistent, compassionate support that helps children feel confident, develop their independence and reach their full potential.
