About Me
I am originally from Canada and have recently relocated to Cambridge to pursue my Master’s degree. I have spent the past 13 years playing and coaching high-level volleyball, including competing as a varsity athlete during my undergraduate degree in Canada.
My experience as a high-performance athlete has taught me to be responsible, organised, patient, and adaptable, as well as how to communicate effectively with people of all ages. I have also spent several years coaching children, which I have really enjoyed, and have had the opportunity to babysit and nanny for a number of families in both British Columbia and Alberta.
I genuinely enjoy working with children and creating a fun, safe, and positive environment for them. I am comfortable keeping children engaged through games, sports, outdoor activities, and creative play, while also being attentive to routines, responsibilities, and individual needs. I am caring, dependable, and enthusiastic, and would love the opportunity to support a family in Cambridge.
My Experience
I had the pleasure of caring for three sisters, with the oldest being five years old and her twin sisters three years old. During my time with the family, I helped with household tasks, cared for the children, prepared meals, and took them on a variety of outings and activities. I worked with this family for approximately two years, which allowed me to build a strong relationship with the children and gain valuable experience caring for multiple young children at once.
