My Experience

Over the years I’ve supported several families in a variety of roles, including live-in childcare, mother’s help, family cook, housekeeping and general household support. I’ve cared for babies, toddlers and school-age children, including independently looking after two children for a week while their parents were away, managing school runs, activities, meals and their day-to-day routine.

I’ve also regularly cooked and meal-prepped for families, preparing family dinners, lunches, breakfasts, homemade bone broth and healthier desserts. Alongside cooking, I’ve helped with tidying, organising cupboards and storage, food shopping, errands and general household management. I’m also comfortable taking initiative when something needs sorting — for example, coordinating repairs and replacements when household appliances have broken. Much of my experience has been about being a dependable extra pair of hands and taking practical jobs off a family’s plate.

My Qualifications

I am educated to postgraduate level and hold a Master’s degree in Sustainable Development. While my academic background is not specifically childcare-related, it reflects my ability to be responsible, organised and adaptable. I also have an up-to-date DBS check. I am currently planning to complete a Paediatric First Aid course as soon as possible.

My Availability

I’m flexible with my availability and open to both live-in and live-out positions. I’m happy to discuss different schedules and arrangements depending on the needs of the family and the responsibilities of the role. My availability and hours would ultimately depend on the position, location and overall package offered, so I’m very open to having a conversation about what would work best for both sides. Ideally, I'd take Sundays off as I am a practicing Christian.

My Fees

• Nannying from £25.00 per hour (gross)

My starting rate for live-out work is £25 per hour, depending on the responsibilities and hours involved. I’m also open to live-in positions and would discuss the salary and overall package based on the role, working hours, childcare responsibilities and level of household support required.
