I’m definitely not a stay-at-home-all-day kind of nanny!
I absolutely LOVE getting children out and about. Whether we’re exploring the woods, visiting a farm, heading to a playgroup, feeding the ducks, going to the library, finding a new park or enjoying soft play, I want children in my care to experience the world around them.
I’m a friendly, caring and experienced working in Early Years, and a very proud mum of four (including twins!). I’ve spent several years working with little ones and genuinely love what I do.
I’m now hoping to find a lovely family who is looking for a nanny who will really get to know their child, become part of their little world and make their days fun, exciting and full of experiences.
I believe there are learning opportunities absolutely everywhere. Something as simple as spotting a ladybird, choosing fruit at the supermarket or jumping in muddy puddles can turn into a whole conversation, activity or learning experience.
I come from a forest and outdoor-learning ethos, so I’m a big believer in letting children explore, get a little muddy, ask questions, take safe risks and learn through real experiences. I drive and have my own car too, so we’re free to head off on plenty of adventures!
Another thing that’s really important to me is socialisation. Alongside playgroups, classes and activities, your little one would have regular opportunities to spend time and play with my own children too - giving them familiar little friends to play, explore, laugh and grow alongside while naturally developing confidence and social skills.
Of course, not every day needs to be a big adventure! There’ll be plenty of cosy stories, messy play, crafts, baking, imaginative play, cuddles and quieter days too.
Most importantly, I’d love to find a family where there’s a genuine connection and where you can go to work knowing that your little one is with someone who really cares about them.
I want to be the nanny who makes your life that little bit easier and makes your child excited to see me in the morning - giving them lots of love, encouragement, laughter and wonderful little childhood memories along the way.
My Experience
I have several years of professional experience working across different nursery and Early Years settings, caring for children from birth to five years old, alongside my experience as a mum of four.
I’m confident supporting babies and young children with feeding, weaning, naps and routines, nappy changing and toileting, emotional development, behaviour, communication, independence and age-appropriate learning.
My Early Years experience has taught me how to follow each child’s individual interests and development while creating engaging learning opportunities through play and everyday experiences.
I also have experience within a forest/outdoor-learning ethos, using nature and the outdoors to encourage exploration, confidence, curiosity and independence.
My Qualifications
My training includes Safeguarding, Advanced Safeguarding & DSL, Prevent Duty, FGM awareness, Understanding Autism, Understanding Babies, In-the-Moment Planning, the Role of the Key Person, Working with Parents, Characteristics of Effective Teaching & Learning, Food Safety & Hygiene, Health & Safety and Fire Safety, alongside further Early Years professional development.
I am Enhanced DBS checked and have Paediatric First Aid training/experience. I’m committed to ongoing professional development and providing children with safe, nurturing and developmentally appropriate care.
My Availability
My availability can be discussed depending on the days and hours required. Please feel free to message me even if your hours differ slightly - I’m happy to discuss what could work for both of us.
Currently available Wednesdays and Fridays, ideally between approximately 9am–4/5pm.
Ad-hoc for school holidays are open for discussion.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
£16 per hour.
