Hi I’m Ellen, but I usually go by Ell. Me and my partner, Scott have a beautiful nearly 4 month old daughter Evelyn. We also have a dog called Bruce. Me and Scott don’t fully know the extent of how much care we will need for Evelyn but it will be on a very much part-time basis for now, with just the odd evening/night for the possibility of a date night.
If we like the service provided, and Evelyn loves the care, we will consider a more permanent basis as she gets older.
Most importantly - we want Evelyn to thrive with whoever she is being cared by. I’m an anxious first time mum and currently the idea of leaving Evelyn with anybody (including family) fills me with worry. So communication and past experience whilst we’re away is an absolute must.
My Requirements
Evelyn is 4 months old currently, she is exclusively bottle fed formula every 3 hours. She has inconsistent naps during the day.
For now - we are looking for an experienced professional who is happy to sit for a few hours in an evening to give me and Scott the opportunity for the occasional date night. Currently, Evelyn’s bedtime is from 7pm where she will sleep upstairs in our room until her first night bottle between 12-1am.
As Evelyn gets older, we will likely consider a night away so will require someone suitable and willing to stay over.
If we like the service, we will likely consider a more permanent basis as Evelyn gets older who will complete school/nursery pick ups due to our job demands.
I’m an anxious first time mum and love my daughter more than the world, so it is very important that the person I choose is extremely responsible and experienced, but also someone who will go out of their way in providing exciting, engaging and loving care to our girl. It’s also important that the person is strong with their communication whilst with Evelyn, keeping me and Scott up to date throughout.
