About Me
Hi, I’m Jade, a 34-year-old full-time mum living in Todmorden.
I’m looking for a caring, patient and experienced nanny or childcare professional to support my almost 3-year-old daughter, who is autistic and currently awaiting further assessments and support. She is a lovely little girl with her own unique personality and way of seeing the world, but she needs additional help with communication, development and understanding her environment.
Ideally, I would love to find someone with experience working with autistic children or children with additional needs. As her mum, I do everything I can to support her, but I would value someone who may have specialist knowledge, experience or ideas that could help encourage her development and independence while making activities fun and engaging.
I’m looking for someone who is kind, understanding, reliable and able to build a trusting relationship with both my daughter and our family. Experience with speech and language development, sensory needs, autism, or early years special educational needs would be a huge advantage.

My Requirements
My daughter is almost 3 years old and is autistic. She is currently non-verbal and has significant communication difficulties, which can often lead to frustration as she is unable to express her wants and needs in the same way as other children her age.
She has sensory-seeking behaviours and requires close supervision at all times as she has very little awareness of danger and can be a flight risk. She thrives on routine, patience and understanding, and benefits from adults who can recognise her non-verbal communication and support her emotional regulation.
She enjoys sensory play and learning through hands-on activities. I am looking for someone who has experience supporting autistic children and who can help encourage her communication, social interaction, play skills and overall development in a positive, nurturing environment.
Most importantly, she needs someone who is kind, patient, calm and willing to take the time to understand her individual needs and help her reach her full potential.
