Hello, my name is Thurza and I am a mum of 2. I have a daughter who is nearly 10 and a son who is 5- both of whom are in school. I left my nursing career of nearly 10 years last year to stay at home with my children due to the hours and not being able to cover childcare. Now my son is in school, I am getting back into work and would love to help other working families.
I provide reliable, caring and professional childcare services, offering a safe, happy and nurturing environment where children can feel comfortable and supported. Alongside childcare, I can also assist with a range of household duties, helping to keep the home organised and running smoothly. My aim is to provide families with dependable support that gives parents peace of mind while ensuring their children receive attentive, engaging and high-quality care.
My Experience
I have extensive experience caring for children, both personally and professionally. As a parent of two children, I understand the importance of providing a safe, nurturing and supportive environment. I also worked as an emergency nurse, where I cared for and treated children with a range of medical needs, developing strong skills in communication, patience and responding calmly in challenging situations. In addition, I regularly care for friends’ children during school half terms, providing attentive supervision and engaging activities while ensuring they feel happy, comfortable and well cared for.
My Qualifications
I hold a degree in Nursing and have extensive experience working as an emergency nurse, where I cared for and treated children. I have also completed Immediate Life Support training, giving me the knowledge and confidence to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations. Alongside my professional qualifications, my experience as a parent of two children has strengthened my understanding of children’s individual needs and the importance of providing safe, nurturing and attentive care.
My Availability
I am available Monday to Friday between 9am and 3pm.
I am available Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings from 5pm until late.
I am available overnight Fridays and Saturdays.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
