About Me
My name is Lilly, I am 19 years old and a caring, friendly and nurturing Early Years apprentice who genuinely loves spending time with children and watching them learn and grow. I enjoy creating fun, safe and welcoming environments where children feel comfortable being themselves. I love getting involved in creative activities, reading, outdoor play and following each child’s individual interests. I’m patient, reliable and responsible, and I really enjoy building trusting relationships with both children and their families.
My Experience
Alongside working in a nursery currently and working towards my level 3 qualification , I have gained a range of experience caring for and supporting children through my previous Paediatric Nursing studies. I completed placements working with children and developed an understanding of their health, development and individual needs. I also have personal experience supporting my younger brother, who has SEN, and was registered as a young carer, which helped me develop patience, empathy and an understanding of how important individualised support is for children and families. I also volunteered with Urban Edible Gardens, where I supported children eligible for free school meals through free gardening and cooking activities. This involved encouraging children to get involved, learn new skills and have fun in a safe and supportive environment. These experiences have helped me become a caring, responsible and understanding person who genuinely enjoys helping children feel safe, confident and supported.
My Qualifications
Level 3 Early Years Educator in progress
Sociology- A*
Psychology-B
English Lit-B
GCSEs including maths english and science all 7 and above
I have E Learning certification for Safeguarding and several others which can be provided ( safeguarding most relevant)
In my paediatric nursing course I was trained in child/ baby CPR
First aid course will be completed in December of 2026!
My Availability
I work full time in a nursery currently so I would love to pick up some later evening shifts and weekends. This would be great for any parents looking to just get out of the house for a little while !
My shifts can vary but I will always be available after 6:30pm sometimes earlier :)
I work in Northwood so I would be best in Ruislip and Northwood areas
My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
