About Me

Hi I'm Katie
I am a OFSTED registered childmindind assistant.

I have worked alongside my mum for many years, fitting this around my studies.

I am an enthusiastic, caring and responsible 19-year-old with experience working alongside my mum.

Through this experience, I have developed a genuine passion for working with children and have gained an understanding of the importance of creating a safe, happy and supportive environment for them.

I am patient, reliable and friendly, and I enjoy helping children learn, play and develop their confidence.

I am comfortable working as part of a team and am always willing to learn and take on new responsibilities.

I also have a current DBS certificate and have undergone safeguarding training.

My Experience

Alongside working in our home setting looking after minded children from the ages of 9 months right up to 9/10yr olds.

I have also worked on various riding schools teaching children to ride and care for horses

I love watching children learn new and invaluable skills

My Qualifications

Registered childminder with a full DBS. Also hold a BTEC qualification in Equine Science and I am currently studying Equine Physiotherapy at university. I also achieved a full set of GCSEs, with grades ranging from 6–8. My education has helped me develop strong communication, organisation, responsibility and practical skills, which I can apply when working with children.

My Availability

I can be flexible with my availability and so am happy to discuss any needs you may have.

I can accommodate some daytimes and evenings to fit around my university timetable.
