Hi, I’m Fatimah! I’m a warm, caring and experienced childcare professional with a background in paediatric nursing. I have experience caring for children from newborns through to teenagers, including children with complex medical and additional needs.

I am a qualified children’s nurse with several years of experience caring for children and young people from premature newborns through to 18 years old.
My experience includes working in both paediatric hospital settings and children’s hospice/community care, giving me experience with children with a wide range of needs. I have cared for newborns, babies, toddlers, school-aged children and teenagers, including children with complex medical and additional needs.
In my previous roles, I have provided day-to-day personal care, supported feeding and medication routines, helped children with their individual care needs and provided emotional and practical support to both children and their families. I am also experienced in recognising when a child may be unwell or require additional support.
Working in paediatrics has taught me the importance of adapting my approach to each individual child. I understand that children thrive when they feel safe, listened to and comfortable, and I always aim to provide care that is nurturing, respectful and centred around their needs.
I have experience working closely with parents, carers and other professionals, so I understand how important communication and trust are when someone else is caring for your child.
My professional background means that your child’s safety and wellbeing will always be my priority, while also making sure they have a fun, positive and enjoyable experience in my care
