About Me

I’m a friendly, caring and approachable person who genuinely enjoys working with children. I have a patient and playful nature and love helping children feel happy, safe and comfortable in my care. I enjoy getting to know each child as an individual and creating positive relationships built on trust, kindness and encouragement. I’m reliable, responsible and calm under pressure, while also bringing a fun and positive attitude to my work. I take great pride in supporting children, encouraging their confidence and helping them enjoy their time in my care.

My Experience

I really enjoy working with children and have gained valuable experience working on a children’s ward, where I supported children and their families during what could often be difficult and unfamiliar situations. I found it incredibly rewarding to help children feel safe, comfortable and cared for, while building positive relationships through patience, kindness and a friendly approach.

My Qualifications

I have a strong healthcare background, including studying Adult Nursing at the University of Plymouth and completing an Access to Nursing course at Plymouth City College. I also have hands-on experience working on a children’s ward, supporting children and their families in a professional care environment. I hold an Enhanced DBS and have experience with safeguarding, first aid, personal care and responding calmly to unexpected situations. I believe my healthcare experience and caring nature provide a strong foundation for providing safe, reliable and compassionate childcare.

My Availability

Currently still working at the hospital, so availability is shift dependant. However, I am possibly able to swap shifts and book dates off from work if given notice
